Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 120 g cubed beef
- 75 g diced bacon
- 20 g diced onion
- 10 g sliced leek
- 15 g diced carrot
- 30 g diced tomatoes
- 30 g diced potatoes
- Chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) commercial packaged pepper sauce
Preparation
- Brown the beef, bacon and onion in a skillet, long enough for the colors to change.
- Fill a Mason style glass jar of 500 ml capacity to the rim with the ingredients. Fill with chicken broth to the rim. Place lid and close. Place in a big pot of boiling water covering the jar up to the rim and let cook for 1 hour. After the cooking time, take the pot out using tongs and let cool.
