  • Ingredients

    • 120 g cubed beef
    • 75 g diced bacon
    • 20 g diced onion
    • 10 g sliced leek
    • 15 g diced carrot
    • 30 g diced tomatoes
    • 30 g diced potatoes
    • Chicken broth
    • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) commercial packaged pepper sauce


    • Brown the beef, bacon and onion in a skillet, long enough for the colors to change.
    • Fill a Mason style glass jar of 500 ml capacity to the rim with the ingredients. Fill with chicken broth to the rim. Place lid and close. Place in a big pot of boiling water covering the jar up to the rim and let cook for 1 hour. After the cooking time, take the pot out using tongs and let cool.

    *The measurements and quantities are approximate as the goal is to fill the pot.
