Curry Noodles

  • Ingredients

    • 2 mushrooms
    • ½ onion
    • 1 branch of Celery
    • 1 leek, the white part only
    • 1 carrot
    • Ramen noodles
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Curry powder
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Curry paste
    • 1 can of Coconut milk
    • Salt and pepper

    Preparation

    • Boil enough water to fill a thermos. Take a thermos and pour the boiling water in to preheat it. Close the thermos well and set it aside for at least 15 minutes.
    • While the thermos is preheating, slice two mushrooms of your choice. Dice the onion, the celery, the leek and the carrot.
    • Pour ramen noodles into your preheated and drained thermos. Add the vegetables in any order. Add the curry powder, the curry paste, salt and pepper. Fill the thermos with warm coconut milk.
    • Close the thermos and shake to mix all ingredients. Set the thermos aside for at least one hour, then dig into these delicious curry noodles to go!

    *The measurements and quantities are approximate as the goal is to fill the thermos.
